Nomenclatural History	The species Cereibacter azotoformans was originally described by Hördt et al. 2020. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 194 in 2020. Hördt et al. formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Rhodobacter azotoformans Hiraishi et al. 1997 into the genus Celeribacter Ivanova et al. 2010 emend. Hördt et al. 2020.
