Nomenclatural History	The species Microlunatus kandeliicorticis was originally described and validly published by Yang and Zhi 2020. Yang and Zhi formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Friedmanniella endophytica Tuo et al. 2016 into the genus Microlunatus Nakamura et al. 1995 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018.
