Nomenclatural History
|
The species Ponticoccus gilvus was originally described by Lee and Lee 2008. Bernard et al. replaced this illegitimate name with
Enemella evansiae Bernard et al. 2020
in 2020.
This name is illegitimate because the parent genus is a later homonym of Ponticoccus Hwang and Cho 2008.
