Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Lentilactobacillus buchneri buchneri was originally described and validly published by Liu and Gu 2020. Liu and Gu formed this name in 2020 by placing the subspecies Lactobacillus buchneri buchneri (Henneberg 1903) Tanizawa et al. 2020 into the species Lentilactobacillus buchneri (Henneberg 1903) Zheng et al. 2020. The basonym is Lactobacillus buchneri subsp. buchneri (Henneberg 1903) Tanizawa et al. 2020 and not Lactobacillus buchneri (Henneberg 1903) Tanizawa et al. 2020 as given by the authors.
