Nomenclatural History
The species Aminobacter heintzii was originally described by Volpiano et al. 2021. Volpiano et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of McDonald et al. 2005 in 2021. Volpiano et al. formed this name in 2021 by placing the species Auling et al. 1993 into the genus Urakami et al. 1992 emend. Kämpfer et al. 2002.
