Nomenclatural History	The species Halalkalibacter krulwichiae was originally described by Joshi et al. 2021. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 203 in 2022. Joshi et al. formed this name in 2021 by placing the species Bacillus krulwichiae Yumoto et al. 2003 into the genus Halalkalibacter Joshi et al. 2022.
