Nomenclatural History
The order Fibromonadales was originally proposed by Abdul Rahman et al. 2015. Oren and Garrity corrected this name from (sic) to Candidatus .

Abdul Rahman et al. 2015 assert a type family for the order, which contravenes the Code. The type genus should be Fibrimonas.
