Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Nonomuraea roseoviolacea carminata was originally described and validly published by Gyobu and Miyadoh 2001. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 81 in 2008. In 2001, Gyobu and Miyadoh reduced Gauze et al. 1973 (Approved Lists 1980) to the rank of subspecies.
