Nomenclatural History	The species Nocardiopsis alborubida was originally described and validly published by Grund and Kroppenstedt 1990. Yassin et al. corrected this name from Nocardiopsis alborubidus (sic) to Nocardiopsis alborubida . Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Yassin et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Nocardiopsis dassonvillei (Brocq-Rousseau 1904) Meyer 1976 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 1997. In 2000, Evtushenko et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form Nocardiopsis dassonvillei albirubida (Grund and Kroppenstedt 1990) Evtushenko et al. 2000 . Camacho Pozo et al. 2020 assert that the whole genome sequence data demonstrate that the classification as N. alborubida Grund and Kroppenstedt 1990 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 is to be preferred over its classification as N. dassonvillei subsp. albirubida Evtushenko et al. 2000.
