Nomenclatural History	The species Parascardovia denticolens was originally described and validly published by Jian and Dong 2002. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Jian and Dong formed this name in 2002 by placing the species Bifidobacterium denticolens Crociani et al. 1996 into the genus Parascardovia Jian and Dong 2002.
