Nomenclatural History
The species Actinocorallia aurantiaca was originally described and validly published by Zhang et al. 2001. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 81 in 2008. Zhang et al. formed this name in 2001 by placing the species Lavrova and Preobrazhenskaya 1975 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Iinuma et al. 1994 emend. Zhang et al. 2001.
