Nomenclatural History
The species Serpulina hyodysenteriae was originally described and validly published by Stanton 1992. Stanton established as a later homotypic synonym of (Harris et al. 1972) Stanton et al. 1991 in 1992. In 1997, Ochiai et al. established as the basonym of (Stanton 1992) Ochiai et al. 1998 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 .
