Nomenclatural History
The species Marinilabilia salmonicolor was originally described and validly published by Nakagawa and Yamasato 1996. Suzuki et al. published an emended description of this species in 1999. Nakagawa and Yamasato formed this name in 1996 by placing the species Veldkamp 1961 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Nakagawa and Yamasato 1996.
