Nomenclatural History
The species Bergeyella zoohelcum was originally described and validly published by Vandamme et al. 1994. Hahnke et al. published an emended description of this species in 2016. Vandamme et al. formed this name in 1994 by placing the species Holmes et al. 1987 into the genus Vandamme et al. 1994.
