Nomenclatural History	The species Myroides odoratimimus was originally described and validly published by Vancanneyt et al. 1996. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. In 2019, García-López et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form Myroides odoratimimus odoratimimus (Vancanneyt et al. 1996) García-López et al. 2020 .
