Nomenclatural History
|
The species Weeksella virosa was originally described by Holmes et al. 1986. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 23 in 1987. Zhang et al. published an emended description of this species in 2014. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Hahnke et al. in 2016.
