Nomenclatural History
The species Streptobacillus moniliformis was originally described by Levaditi et al. 1925. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Woo et al. published an emended description of this species in 2014. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Eisenberg et al. in 2015.
