Nomenclatural History
The genus Catellibacterium was originally proposed and validly published by Tanaka et al. 2004. Liu et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2010. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Zhang et al. in 2012 and Zheng et al. in 2011. Chen et al. transferred the members of this genus into Rothe et al. 1988 emend. Kang et al. 2017 in 2013.
