Nomenclatural History	The species Kluyvera intermedia was originally described and validly published by Pavan et al. 2005. Pavan et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Kluyvera cochleae Müller et al. 1996 in 2005. Pavan et al. formed this name in 2005 by placing the species Enterobacter intermedius corrig. Izard et al. 1980 into the genus Kluyvera Farmer et al. 1981.
