Nomenclatural History	The species Mycobacterium brisbanense was originally described and validly published by Schinsky et al. 2004. In 2018, Gupta et al. established Mycobacterium brisbanense as the basonym of Mycolicibacterium brisbanense (Schinsky et al. 2004) Gupta et al. 2018 .
