Nomenclatural History
The species Xylanimicrobium pachnodae was originally described and validly published by Stackebrandt and Schumann 2004. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Stackebrandt and Schumann formed this name in 2004 by placing the species Cazemier et al. 2004 into the genus Stackebrandt and Schumann 2004. In 2020, Heo et al. established as the basonym of (Cazemier et al. 2004) Heo et al. 2020 .
