Nomenclatural History
The species Faenia rectivirgula was originally described and validly published by Kurup and Agre 1983. Kurup and Agre formed this name in 1983 by placing the species (Krasil'nikov and Agre 1964) Prauser and Momirova 1970 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Lacey and Goodfellow 1975 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Korn-Wendisch et al. 1989. In 1989, Korn-Wendisch et al. established as the basonym of (Krasil'nikov and Agre 1964) Korn-Wendisch et al. 1989 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 .
