Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Thioalkalimicrobium was originally proposed and validly published by Sorokin et al. 2001. List Editor corrected this name from Thioalkalimicrobium (sic) to Thialkalimicrobium . De Vos et al. corrected this name from Thialkalimicrobium (sic) to Thioalkalimicrobium . Sorokin et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2002.
