Nomenclatural History	The species Dickeya chrysanthemi was originally described and validly published by Samson et al. 2005. Samson et al. formed this name in 2005 by placing the species Pectobacterium chrysanthemi (Burkholder et al. 1953) Brenner et al. 1973 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Hauben et al. 1998 into the genus Dickeya Samson et al. 2005.
