Nomenclatural History	The species Arcobacter halophilus was originally described and validly published by Donachie et al. 2005. In 2018, Pérez-Cataluña et al. established Arcobacter halophilus as the basonym of Malaciobacter halophilus corrig. (Donachie et al. 2005) Pérez-Cataluña et al. 2019 .
