Thiomonas delicata (Katayama-Fujimura et al. 1984) Kelly and Wood 2006 emend. Battaglia-Brunet et al. 2011
Nomenclatural History
The species Thiomonas delicata was originally described by Kelly and Wood 2005. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 109 in 2006. Katayama et al. published an emended description of this species in 2006. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Battaglia-Brunet et al. in 2011. Kelly and Wood formed this name in 2005 by placing the species (ex Mizoguchi et al. 1976) Katayama-Fujimura et al. 1984 into the genus Moreira and Amils 1997 emend. Kelly et al. 2007. Battaglia-Brunet et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Moreira and Amils 1997 emend. Kelly et al. 2007 in 2011.
