Nomenclatural History
The species Oceanobacillus picturae was originally described and validly published by Lee et al. 2006. Lee et al. formed this name in 2006 by placing the species Heyrman et al. 2003 into the genus Lu et al. 2002 emend. Hirota et al. 2013.
