Nomenclatural History
The species Persicivirga xylanidelens was originally described and validly published by O'Sullivan et al. 2006. Nedashkovskaya et al. published an emended description of this species in 2009. In 2012, Yi and Chun established as the basonym of (O'Sullivan et al. 2006) Yi and Chun 2012 .
