Nomenclatural History	The species Roseobacter gallaeciensis was originally described and validly published by Ruiz-Ponte et al. 1998. In 2006, Martens et al. established Roseobacter gallaeciensis as the basonym of Phaeobacter gallaeciensis (Ruiz-Ponte et al. 1998) Martens et al. 2006 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 .
