Nomenclatural History
The species Sphingomonas suberifaciens was originally described by Yabuuchi et al. 1999. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 70 in 1999. Yabuuchi et al. formed this name in 1999 by placing the species van Bruggen et al. 1990 into the genus Yabuuchi et al. 1990 emend. Feng et al. 2017. In 2013, Chen et al. established as the basonym of (van Bruggen et al. 1990) Chen et al. 2013 .
