Nomenclatural History	The species Agrobacterium gelatinovorum was originally described by Ahrens 1968. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 1992 the name was revived and validly published by Rüger and Höfle. In 1998, Uchino et al. established Agrobacterium gelatinovorum as the basonym of Ruegeria gelatinovorans corrig. (Rüger and Höfle 1992) Uchino et al. 1999 .
