Nomenclatural History
|
The species Chelatobacter heintzii was originally described by Auling et al. 1993. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 46 in 1993. Kämpfer et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Aminobacter aminovorans (den Dooren de Jong 1926) Urakami et al. 1992 emend. Kämpfer et al. 2002
in 2002. In 2021, Volpiano et al. established Chelatobacter heintzii as the basonym of
Aminobacter heintzii (Auling et al. 1993) Volpiano et al. 2021
