Nomenclatural History
The species Aurantimonas coralicida was originally described and validly published by Denner et al. 2003. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Volpiano et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Anderson et al. 2011 in 2021.
