Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudomonas cissicola was originally described by Burkholder 1948. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 2021, Rudra and Gupta established as the basonym of (Takimoto 1939) Rudra and Gupta 2021 . Saati-Santamaría et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (ex Hasse 1915) Gabriel et al. 1989 emend. Constantin et al. 2016 in 2021.
