Nomenclatural History

The species Pseudomonas citronellolis was originally described by Seubert 1960. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Lang et al. published an emended description of this species in 2007. Lalucat et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Pseudomonas humi Akita et al. 2019
in 2020.
