Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudomonas iners was originally described by Iizuka and Komagata 1964. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Satomi et al. transferred the members of González et al. 1997 emend. Satomi et al. 2002 into this species in 2002. In 2019, Tindall established as the basonym of (Iizuka and Komagata 1964) Tindall 2020 .
