Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudomonas nautica was originally described by Baumann et al. 1972. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Spröer et al. transferred the members of Gauthier et al. 1992 into this species in 1998. In 2020, Tindall established as the basonym of (Baumann et al. 1972) Tindall 2020 .
