Nomenclatural History
|
The species Marinobacterium georgiense was originally described and validly published by González et al. 1997. Satomi et al. published an emended description of this species in 2002. González et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Marinobacterium iners (Iizuka and Komagata 1964) Tindall 2020
in 1997. Satomi et al. transferred the members of this species into
Pseudomonas iners Iizuka and Komagata 1964 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 2002.
