Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Aeromonas hydrophila dhakensis was originally described and validly published by Huys et al. 2002. Martínez-Murcia et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Martínez-Murcia et al. 2008 in 2009. Beaz-Hidalgo et al. elevated this subspecies to the rank of species to form the name (Huys et al. 2002) Beaz-Hidalgo et al. 2015 in 2013.
