Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Erwinia carotovora wasabiae was originally described and validly published by Goto and Matsumoto 1987. In 1998, Hauben et al. established Erwinia carotovora wasabiae as the basonym of Pectobacterium carotovorum wasabiae (Goto and Matsumoto 1987) Hauben et al. 1999 .
