Nomenclatural History	The species Peptostreptococcus lacrimalis was originally described and validly published by Li et al. 1992. In 2001, Ezaki et al. established Peptostreptococcus lacrimalis as the basonym of Peptoniphilus lacrimalis (Li et al. 1992) Ezaki et al. 2001 .
