Nomenclatural History
The species Eubacterium plautii was originally described and validly published by Hofstad and Aasjord 1982. Hofstad and Aasjord formed this name in 1982 by placing the species corrig. Séguin 1928 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Prévot 1938 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Cato et al. 1981. In 2010, Carlier et al. established as the basonym of (Séguin 1928) Carlier et al. 2010 .
