Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Clavibacter xyli cynodontis was originally described and validly published by Davis et al. 1984. In 2000, Evtushenko et al. established Clavibacter xyli cynodontis as the basonym of Leifsonia xyli cynodontis (Davis et al. 1984) Evtushenko et al. 2000 .
