Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Corynebacterium michiganense nebraskense was originally described and validly published by Carlson and Vidaver 1982. In 1982, Carlson and Vidaver reduced Vidaver and Mandel 1974 (Approved Lists 1980) to the rank of subspecies. In 1984, Davis et al. established as the basonym of corrig. (Vidaver and Mandel 1974) Davis et al. 1984 .
