Nomenclatural History
The species Saccharopolyspora rectivirgula was originally described and validly published by Korn-Wendisch et al. 1989. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Korn-Wendisch et al. formed this name in 1989 by placing the species (Krasil'nikov and Agre 1964) Kurup and Agre 1983 into the genus Lacey and Goodfellow 1975 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Korn-Wendisch et al. 1989.
