Nomenclatural History
The genus Actinokineospora was originally proposed by Hasegawa 1988. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 27 in 1988. Labeda et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2010. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Tang et al. in 2012 and Nouioui et al. in 2018. Nouioui et al. transferred the members of Yuan et al. 2010 emend. Nikou et al. 2014 into this genus in 2018.
