Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces ghanaensis was originally described by Wallhäusser et al. 1966. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Goodfellow et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Pridham et al. 1958 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Goodfellow et al. 2017 in 2017.
