Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces griseorubiginosus was originally described by Pridham et al. 1958. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Kämpfer et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Shinobu 1957 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2017.
