Nomenclatural History	The species Streptomyces humiferus was originally described by Goodfellow et al. 1986. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 22 in 1986. Goodfellow et al. established Streptomyces humiferus as a later homotypic synonym of Actinopycnidium caeruleum Krasil'nikov 1962 (Approved Lists 1980) in 1986. Komaki established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Streptomyces anthocyanicus (Krasil'nikov et al. 1965) Pridham 1970 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Komaki 2021 in 2021.
