Nomenclatural History
The species Flavobacterium ceti was originally described and validly published by Vela et al. 2007. Lata et al. published an emended description of this species in 2012. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Kacagan et al. in 2013. In 2019, García-López et al. established as the basonym of (Vela et al. 2007) García-López et al. 2020 .
